No news is good news :) This workshop ended up to be one of the best and most productive workshops I have done in the last few years. I did not blog anything because I was so involved, and yesterday I was busy as a voluteer breaking up and cleaning up the workshop space.

I made a buzzing telephone with a pulsing blue light this afternoon, but I am not really happy with it (yet). Tomorrow maybe better, I'll change to the second group and will work with puredata. In about an hour I go the de Fabriek (unDEAF). On their life stream I see two people and a dog playing in a mountain of film...

Haha. This must be karma. Today, upto now only talk. As part of the DIY workshop we had to follow the Critical Ecosystems Seminar. Greenpeace had a nice lecture, and Antony Hal, who follows the workshop, had a very nice demonstration.
I recorded all, in one minute chunks, through my headphone. A terrible 50Hz buzz, but this can be filtered out. I'll do something with it later maybe.

Talk Talk Talk Talk and more Talk and far to little action. This workshop is like my about-me page. Brrrr. It is supposed to be a DO IT YOURSELF workshop, not a listen to the interesting theories of the workshop leaders workshop. My (not so) humble opinion.
In the evening I was at unDEAF, did a little Sound Scapeing (for Dummys) performance, unPlanned a Musical Laptops performance for 2morrow night and saw the EXCELLENT movie "THE NET" (as mentioned by the director of V2_)

Typo's are great. Friday night I was at the deaf07 volunteer kick-off meeting. We where introduced to the V2_ staff and told that schedules would arrive by email on Saterday.
The V2_ staff seem a great group of people and my schedule has not arrived yet. Tomorrow is the opening and the day after the mystery workshop is starts.
Some of the mystery has been taken away by the comment at the kick-off that "artists and technicians will be creating an interactive piece of art".
And workshop materials have been posted in the workshop wiki. Unfortunately this information is guarded by the copyright or trade secret police in the form of butterflies :(.
On the other hand :) resistors with 4 and 5 rings give me a warm feeling just as polarized diodes do. I have not done any analogue hacking for a long time.

Yesterday I was at V2_, got briefed on the volunteer part and I paid for my workshop. This afternoon, at 17:30 there will be a sort of a kick-off meeting for the volunteers.
Wednesday evening I was at De Fabri[ek|c], where the unDEAF part of the festival will be held. I consider creating my atelier there. Very nice people and the spaces are big but cold, messy and need quite a lot of work.

Nothing happend yet really, but I want some more text, as I am working on the design of this page a bit more.
Well, some things actually did happen: I got the bill for the DIY network workshop and an email from Dagmar about volunteering during the festival.
